Can’t we all agree that sitting in a windowless office going through boxes and boxes of documents is “beneath” most people who graduate from top law schools and/or clerk for federal judges? Why can’t Skadden look for lawyers who are willing to do work that is beneath them for a period of time if it leads to something better down the road, instead of forcing people to keep up the legal fiction that they have a “passion” for doing brainless work? —

First time I’ve seen Blackberry promote BBM. Guess they’ve realized that BBM is a (the?) killer app
Think they’re grasping for any straw they can as the sun gracefully sets on the Blackberry era… Best move for RIM at this point would be to build Android phones. There’s no clear-cut hardware leader in the Android space and they have the relationships / DNA to become the “Dell mobile,” which unfortunately seems like their best case scenario now as the odd man out in an iOS/Android world… that or cut costs, cut R&D, milk the corporate market for all they can, and pay a healthy dividend to shareholders.
