Go west, young man

So, when are we going to see that Dwight Howard puppet?

Nothing is a given… 3 questions tonights game raises for me:
1) Has Dwight been given short shrift amidst the Kobe-Lebron… and Melo… and Wade… tongue wagging? He’s young, freakishly athletic, and unlike any of the above, has the one quality more often correlated with success in the NBA than anything else: being huge.
2) Lebron is not a killer. He’s just not. He’s not in the mold of MJ or Kobe. Doesn’t mean he won’t be a winner, and doesn’t mean he can’t surpass MJ. But I wish we were studying the other MJ’s career (Magic Johnson) career more in thinking about Lebron. They seem like kindered spirits; LBJ a more freakishly athletic version of Magic. How did Magic play in the 4th quarter? That’s what I want to know when thinking about Lebron’s development.
3) Will the NBA get crushed by an ORL-LAL finals (yes, I assuming LAL makes it because in my world, it is ordained)? Even though it has a lot of ingredients for a great series, is anything short of Kobe-Lebron just too massive a letdown to hold interest? I kinda think so, unfortunately…
