My prediction: if and when an Apple Tablet is announced, it’s key innovation is going to be in screen technology using something like Fujitsu does here. PixelQi is also working on a similar innovation. Short of that, a “large iTouch” is an irrelevent, clunky, and… well, dumb device. With this type of color e-reader (potentially with an on/off switch for traditional backlight lcd), Apple would do to the Kindle what the iPod did to a nascent MP3 market years ago.
