Some people like to think of health care and education of basic human rights. Maybe they are. But they are also normal goods.
Great post by Prof. Mankiw. For every anecdote about how problematic healthcare is in the U.S., there are equally unappealing ones from the U.K., Canada, etc. This is a tough and humbling issue.
