Michael Broukhim

Go west, young man

Notes &

Having also watched Michael Clayton two nights ago, here’s a nice tribute paid by Brian Feinstein.

I watched Michael Clayton for the third time tonight. Impeccably written, directed, edited, performed— this film is one of my all-time favorites. Like The Bicycle Thief or Clockers, this is a story of what happens to ordinary men— going about the sordid business of making a living— having to make choices when the stakes are high….I walk away from this film every time feeling as though I’ve been privy to something authentic. It wouldn’t surprise me if Michael Clayton stood the test of time.
