adamkatz: First time I’ve seen Blackberry promote BBM. Guess they’ve realized that BBM is a (the?) killer app Think they’re grasping for any straw they can as the sun gracefully sets on the Blackberry era… Best move for RIM at this point would be to build Android phones. There’s no clear-cut hardware leader in the Android space and they have the relationships / DNA to become the “Dell mobile,” which unfortunately seems like their best case scenario now as the odd man out in an iOS/Android world… that or cut costs, cut R&D, milk the corporate market for all they can, and pay a healthy dividend to shareholders.
